Due South Motorcycle Tours is run hands on, offering a brand of motorcycle touring based on the simple premise that most people prefer riding in small uncluttered groups and enjoy the freedom of the open road with like minded people. Overnight accommodations are always diverse avoiding sterile 'hotels', our aim is to ensure that each overnight accommodation is an experience in itself. Meals are varied and appetizing, the overall ambiance of the overnight stop adds to the enjoyment of the tour enhancing the overall experience. All accommodations are hand picked and more often than not owner run. Big Game drives are always a part of each tour itinerary (Kruger National Park and St Lucia Estuary)  

The nature of the motorcycle touring is such that pillions are equally comfortable touring as long boring A to B riding is avoided with well planned routes on the countries best roads... which are many and varied. South Africa is blessed with incredibly diverse scenery which always impresses. From the dry arid Karoo down to the the balmy Mediterranean Cape coastline to the lush tropical Zululand, up into the mighty Drakensburg Mountains riding at over 3,000 meters and into the wild African bush-veld...

Several of our riders, with many years riding under the belt, have commented that South Africa offered them the best and most diverse riding they have ever experienced; at each days close riders are once again awe struck at the quality of riding and natural beauty looking forward to the next days ride. The motorbike tours are primarily road based with the occasional ride on quality gravel in and out of the some viewing sites and or overnight spots. Less experienced motorcycle riders are taken care of as the small group nature of the motorbike tour allow all to enjoy the ride at their own pace and as conditions allow, safety is always paramount. Using recent model GS series BMW motorcycles, the focus being the enjoyment of the entire experience.
