Motorcycle Touring South Africa has never been easier. Using primarily BMW motorbikes : Cape Town, Garden Route, Route 62,
God's Window, Blyde River Canyon, Kruger Park and much more are simply a flight away.
Our small vibrant operation offers a brand of motorcycle tours based on the simple premise that most people prefer riding in small
uncluttered groups and enjoy the freedom of the open road with like minded people. The overnight accommodations need to be diverse
avoiding sterile hotels. Meals need to be varied and appetizing, the overall ambiance of the overnight stops must be varied and
add to the enjoyment of the tour enhancing the overall experience. All our accommodators are hand picked and enhance the entirety
of the tour and are more often than not owner run.
BMW Bikes. Tours are primarily road based on BMW GS series bikes. We use current model BMW bikes with the f650GS (800cc twin)
being our standard offering on tours; upgrades to the F800GS or indeed the iconic R1200GS can be accommodated. BMW motorcycles
are excellent touring bikes with a reputation for reliability, excellent handling and smooth torque laden power delivery making
them ideal for tours and touring. BMW motorbikes afford both the rider and pillion exceptional comfort with the overall experience
unparalleled.
Motorbike Enthusiasts. With or without pillions (passengers) wishing to spend a week or two enjoying: Beautiful Scenery, Great Weather,
Excellent Cuisine, Majestic Wildlife, Cultural Diversity and most of all... a Fantastic Riding Experience, on of the planets most outstanding
uncluttered roads will enjoy riding in and around this motorcycling paradise... South Africa.

Support Vehicle. For groups larger than three bikes we use a support vehicle to
carry your luggage, lift weary pillions if and when required and of course ensuring quick
and efficient safety support and back up on the road. There is no additional cost for
this service. Small groups will have quality hard luggage attached to the bikes and will
enjoy the experience equally.
Riders Ability. The small intimate nature of our tour offerings makes it easy to accommodate
all levels of rider ability. We have had several inexperienced newbie's who have all commented
on how a week in the saddle on quality roads with little traffic improved their riding in leaps
and bounds. Our riding will allow the experienced to enjoy brisk riding when the conditions
call for it; we do however place emphasis on safety and having a great time.
Owner. Joe along with wife Rae and daughters Jade & Erin live on the West Rand, Johannesburg,
the largest city in South Africa with a population in excess of 10 million. Joe has a small business
consultancy company which keeps him busy between tours. As an avid motorcycle enthusiast Due-South
Motorcycle Tours was established in 2007 as a method of blurring the lines between work and
play. Riding several thousand kilometres each year he takes every opportunity to get out
of the big city in order to ride the brilliant roads South Africa is blessed with. You are invited to
come along for the ride of your life. After all life is a journey, we only come this way once,
experiencing all we can... from the seat of a motorcycle... is special
Ethos. The motorcycling ethos of the company lends itself to avoidance of the usual tourist
traps while focusing on the purity of riding a motorcycle through diverse landscape, enjoying
good meals, quality accommodation with like minded people. We will always throw in a few
interesting things to make the trip truly memorable...
Due-South Motorcycle Tours will accommodate a minimum two individuals on a tour
(including pillion), a couple makes a tour...
